NEW BEQUEST PLANNING VALUATION SERVICE DESIGNED TO OFFER PEACE OF MIND
Mark Fraser Valuations is pleased to be offering a new service specifically designed to alleviate the stress and expectation often experienced when planning your will and specific bequests. Over many years Mark has had to help deal with numerous fall outs in the light of probate being granted and one family feeling that they have been ‘hard done by’ compared to another. He has seen previously close sons, daughters, brothers and sisters at each other’s throats, and on occasion these awkward situations can even end up in court.
This service, which he is calling a Bequest Planning Valuation will, in certified form, keep you updated on current market values on your more valuable antiques and collectables and your well loved family heir looms. This way you will know that when planning our will, you would not for example be leaving your son a German figurine worth £50 and his sister a Chinese vase worth £5000.
This service is available now at a cost of £100 for the first hour, and with a 15 minute incremental charge thereafter. Therefore if for instance Mark attends your property for 1.5 hours, his charge would be £150*. For this, you will receive two copies of a certified itemised valuation folder detailing any items which may concern you. Each piece will be given a current market value, and for an annual fee of £40 he will update these values as necessary. Therefore you can plan your bequests well in advance and be safe in the knowledge that your family will not fall out at a time when they should be pulling together and supporting each other.
An added incentive to take up this type of valuation is that, because it is a CERTIFIED document, if updated annually the values can act as future probate or IHT figures, therefore making it simple for your executors when filling out Inheritance Tax forms, as they would be safe in the knowledge that nothing within your estate would be ‘missed’, a scenario which Mark explains fully in the Probate section of this website.
This innovative, unique Bequest Planning service will undoubtedly be of great benefit for all concerned, both from an emotional and practical point of view, and will provide peace of mind for both those in their twilight years and for the loved ones they will one day leave behind.
* Valuations undertaken outside a 30 mile radius of Norwich may incur a small additional cost.
